Who am I?
Megan Ballock, M.Ed.
My name is Megan and I am the founder of MB Education Consulting. I am an innovative and passionate professional with over ten years of experience in the education sector. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from Pittsburg State University and a Master of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois.
My professional experience includes high school and university teaching, education program management, and individual advising for university applications.
During my time as a high school teacher in the United States, as well as my time as both a high school teacher and program coordinator in Brazil, I assisted students from a variety of backgrounds in their quest to apply to and be accepted by universities in the United States and Canada. It was through these experiences that I learned that many students find themselves overwhelmed with the process and, unfortunately, end up giving up before really even getting started. However, while there are many pieces and steps in the process, it is far from impossible!
